Artist Bio

Sam Cannon is an artist and director based in Brooklyn. Working in photography, video, installation, sculpture and performance, her practice employs cutting-edge digital techniques and explores socially engaged subject matter.

She’s mounted exhibitions at Art Basel Miami Beach, Mana Contemporary and SPRING/BREAK — as well as lectured at The School of Visual Arts, The International Center for Photography, George Washington University, The Center for Photography at Woodstock, and The Fashion Institute of Technology.
